Patrick Barker deals with the expressive qualities of the human form with a witty, engaging and entirely unique interpretation. Through his use of stone (usually a soft limestone) and his own instinctive sense of fun he creates rounded tactile characters. British collections include Lord Carrington, Prior's Courty School, Michael Heseltine, Tom Stoppard, Pru Leith, Neil Tennant, Don Foster M.P. and Felix Dennis.
Patrick Barker trained at Bath Academy of Art, followed by a post-graduate course at the Cyprus College of Art. He was elected an Associate of the Royal Society of British Sculptors in 1997.
